Wild Video of NYU Protesters Chasing and Surrounding NYPD Shows How Out of Control Things Are Getting

Things are getting out of hand in NY with campuses being taken over at places like NYU and Columbia by leftist extremists setting up encampments, like Occupy 2.0.

Now a viral video has emerged that shows just how out of control it's getting. The video is from Monday night when the police descended on NYU and arrested dozens of students and even some of the professors after the students pelted the police with bottles and hit an officer with a chair. These were the folks that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) claimed were "peaceful."

(Warning: profanity.) The viral video shows NYPD Assistant Chief James McCarthy and a few officers with a person in custody surrounded by the radical protesters as they tried to get inside the NYU Catholic Center. The protesters surrounded them, screamed at them, and cursed, demanding they let the person go, even reaching in trying to grab the prisoner away. “F–k you! F–k you, pigs,” they screeched.

But the police couldn't get into the building so they had to go around the corner as the mob of protesters chased them down the street. "F--king fascists," the crowd screamed, along with "Free Palestine." 

The chief finally found an open door and the police were able to slip inside as the protesters screamed after them. One of them tried to get in but was pushed out. The officers had to hold the doors shut as the protesters tried to get in and continued to flip out. 

Perhaps the funniest thing was how one guy screeched that this was "f--king kidnapping!!!" and another ranted "This is illegal, you can't do that!" Pro-tip, radical extremists? It's called an arrest, and yes, they can do it. And they could arrest all of you for interfering in that arrest if they chose to. "Shame, shame," the radicals shouted. They were right, but they were the shameful ones. They're so privileged and entitled, they think they can do anything they want,  This is similar to the story that my colleague Sister Toldjah wrote about earlier with the NYU female student throwing a fit on X and claiming she was "abducted" by the police. They're not out protesting against the actual abductions of hostages from Israel in the Oct. 7 attack or against the attack on Israel by Hamas, the real people trying to commit genocide of the Jewish people and the Israeli state.

The question is: although there are a lot of arrests, will any of these folks be held accountable for their actions in NYC, given the progressive district attorney, Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg? But it shows how out of control these characters are when this can happen. There have to be legal consequences for their actions if you're going to stop the madness from spreading more; it's already off and running because they didn't put down the insurrection at Columbia.
